My name is Binod Kumar Khatri and I am the sole trader behind Oakline Print & Press. I offer clear, careful print preparation and publishing support to individuals, independent professionals, community organisations and small businesses across Glasgow and — where digital delivery or approved arrangements allow — the wider United Kingdom.

Oakline Print & Press is independently owned and operated by Binod Kumar Khatri as a sole trader in the United Kingdom. I am not a limited company and I do not run a large facility. This means every enquiry, every proof and every finished file passes across my desk personally, which is exactly how I want it to be.

Why clear print preparation matters

A great deal of what makes a printed piece look professional happens before it reaches a press. Correct dimensions, adequate bleed, sensible margins, accurate colour intent and clean page order all affect the final result. My role is to treat these details with the seriousness they deserve so your finished item looks the way you intended.

My approach to customer orders

Every project I take on begins with a written confirmation of the required item, dimensions, quantity, paper or digital format, artwork status, colour requirements, proofing process, production expectations and delivery method. That single conversation prevents most avoidable problems and gives us both a shared reference point throughout the work.

Understanding the required format

Print work only succeeds when the format is right from the beginning. Whether we are preparing a folded brochure, a stapled booklet, a set of business stationery or a full publication, I confirm the finished size, page count, orientation and any special construction details before touching the artwork.

Artwork checking

Supplied files vary widely in quality. I review them for image resolution, embedded or outlined fonts, bleed set-up, safe margins and general suitability for print. Where an issue would materially affect the finished result, I flag it before we proceed rather than pushing it through and hoping for the best.

Proofing and approval

Where the service applies, I issue a digital proof for your review. You are the final authority on the content — spelling, phone numbers, addresses, page order, dates, prices and images are all your responsibility to check. Production begins only once you have approved the proof.

Working with individuals and small businesses

My typical customers include sole traders, small businesses, startups, authors, students, community groups, event organisers, consultants and coaches. If you are a large corporate buyer looking for a mass-production partner, I am probably not the right studio for you. If you value a considered, one-to-one relationship with the person actually preparing your files, we should talk.

Print and digital delivery

Finished digital files are delivered electronically. Printed products, where included, are delivered or collected according to the arrangements confirmed for the specific order. I do not make blanket guarantees about delivery times because circumstances vary — I do commit to giving you an honest estimate and updating you if it changes.

Communication and accountability
